What customers say?

“ We visited as a group of two around 1:30pm on a weekday. Since it was our first time, we ordered the standard Kawagoe soy sauce ramen, miso ramen, and gyoza. The soy sauce ramen was light with a gentle dried sardine flavor, and the pork was delicious and soft and tender. You can choose between thin or medium-thick noodles. The miso ramen was also mild and crunchy with plenty of vegetables, which I liked. The gyoza skin was also chewy and delicious. When we were paying, we noticed an SNS-only menu written on the whiteboard on the wall to the right, so we asked how to order from that menu, and were kindly told that it was fine to just order as normal. With so many delicious-looking menu items, this is a restaurant we'd like to visit often. ”

“ I had the basil tanmen and a half bowl of black pork yakiniku rice bowl, and it was absolutely delicious! It might have been even better if I could have ordered extra basil for the basil tanmen. The fragrant flavor of the black pork yakiniku, fried over high heat, brought out an indescribable flavor. Even though it was a half bowl, there was a lot of toppings, and I was satisfied after a long time at a ramen restaurant! I want to go again! ”

“ It was delicious. I could taste a slight fish meal. I don't like strong fish meal flavors, so I think this restaurant's flavor will be enjoyable for people like me. The noodles were a little thick. There is parking for about 10 cars. Next time I'd like to try the fried rice and dandan noodles. ”

“ This was my first visit to Menya Mebuki in Kawagoe City. I arrived at 12 o'clock on a Sunday in February. There was parking for eight cars in front of the store. The store had both counter and table seating. I ordered the dandan noodles (1,000 yen) from the staff. The bowl arrived in five minutes. Let's eat. The soup had a sesame flavor and just the right amount of spiciness, which was great. The medium-thick, curly noodles mixed well with the soup and were delicious. Thank you for the meal. I'll visit again. ”

“ I visited on April 2, 2025 at lunchtime. The menu was extensive and I had a hard time deciding. After some deliberation, I ended up ordering the extra spicy dandan noodles. The numbing tingle from the Japanese pepper was quite spicy! The soup had a strong sesame flavor and was delicious. I think it would have been even more delicious if it had included pickled mustard greens and spinach! Next time, I'd like to try Kawagoe soy sauce ramen. ”

“ This restaurant offers unique ramen that's been featured in the media. I arrived around 1:00 PM on May 1995. There was only one other customer ahead of me. Parking is a bit difficult, but there are about 10 spaces along the road next to the restaurant. Seating is free, and water is self-service. There are three seats at the counter, four tables, and three raised tables. On the tables are soy sauce, chili oil, vinegar, black pepper, disposable chopsticks, toothpicks, a box of tissues, a doorbell, and a menu. I ordered the "Basil Tanmen" (¥1,000 including tax), which I'd been wanting to try for a while. The bowl arrived in about six minutes. The basil tanmen had medium-thick noodles, average size and firmness, and a slightly short length. The soup was piping hot , with just the right amount of saltiness and a light, savory flavor that was easy to drink. Looking at the deep green soup infused with basil is so relaxing. The toppings were a generous amount of crispy stir-fried meat and vegetables (ground pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, onions, and carrots), topped with mizuna, tomatoes, and green onions. Personally, the portion was just right, the soup was delicious, and the stir-fried vegetables were a plus. Also, I was a little curious about the grilled rice. ”

“ I came here for some chilled Chinese noodles, but ended up with the basil ramen. It was delicious! It was the best! The chicken soba and shio ramen were also good. As for the half-sized horumon bowl, It was so delicious I don't know what to do! I paid with cash. I'll definitely be back. I'll try the chilled Chinese noodles. Thank you very much. I visited again. Chilled Chinese noodles, tsukemen, and a half-sized bowl of horumon. It was the best! I'd even like to get takeout next time. Thank you again. ”

“ I ordered Kawagoe soy sauce ramen. I chose seasoned egg, bamboo shoots, and roasted pork as toppings. The thickly sliced roasted pork was the highlight. It was soft and the flavor was thoroughly absorbed. The bamboo shoots had a slightly spicy flavor that added a nice accent. The flavor and quantity were excellent for around 1,000 yen. ”
